RealSlayers New Startup 500lt

Hi All,

I have been a member on this site previously but haven't been active for a while. I have just moved house and due to some bad luck have lost most of my fish. So here is the new start. What I am going to stock will be a surprise. :blink1:

Sorry to hear about your loss. Very curious as to what you are going to stock it with.

 

The tank and cabinet has great potential. I cant wait to see the end result. I can only imagine it will look brilliant.

 

So the tank is cycled. Just need to get the water clear.

Is it me or did your tank cycle in 3 days????

@DarylA Sounds crazy, but yes cycled, Not in 3 days though. Levelled and added 50% water on Tuesday. Topped it up on Wednesday (I just don't like to add 100% water in a day, especially after transporting it). Added the wood on Thursday. I think I started this thread on Friday.

Used 9 rainbow cichlids during cycle. They still in. Added 2 Frontosa and a Parrot yesterday. Adding more fish tonight. The parrot is just a visitor. Been keeping fish for a long time. So I am comfortable with a few shortcuts that I take. Just will not advise anyone else to.

 

@Breado Thanks for the post. I went into your account and found my old account. I have been struggling because I thought my profile name was RealSlayer. LOL it is Slayer. You never knew but you helped me. Thanks again.
