    Hi guys.

Please could someone recommend an internal parasite remover? One of my guppies has the infamous white faeces going on... I've quarantined her in the meantime.

    Thanks

    For OTC medication.

Get a few Metro tabs from your chemist, they are usually very lenient when you explain what you are using it for. Crush 1\4 of a pill and dissolve in a little water. Soak his food in it for an half hour or so and feed him. It usually clears it up within a few days of feeding this. You will know when the feces comes out dark.

    Hope this helps.

Metronidazole tablets yes. You crush into a powder, dissolve in a little bit of tank water and soak the food. When mixing in with meaty\malleable foods the ratio is 250mg metro per 100g of food.

If the fish isn't eating, or you want to do the whole tank, it can be thrown in the water at the correct dosage

A sit lower than if they eat it in the food but woks as well

@MariaS Yes, but for water dosing I started using the products that's available. I haven't had much success treating the water with metronidazole pills and it makes a mess, it doesn't dissolve in water very well and I was most likely under dosing because of this. You need Dimetronidazole which is water soluble so I just buy a product now rather. I had success using JBL's Spirohexol plus 250.
