That is one stunning fish @Cesar. What is the chances of getting babies if you get one of the oppoite sex? The Rays are amazing btw.

Suggestion - gut load your crickets with fish pellets, keep feeding the carrots for hydration. I have a tub of tetra aro food that none of my fish will eat (nor my cat for that matter), but crickets love it, first remove the bran/ dog food from the cricket container, and replace with fish food.

I know some of the eastern hobbyists use special lights to help "tan" them for even better colours. Do you plan on doing the same? Also krill helps to bring out the red even more.

Hi there SterlingAce... the lights you are talking about are called Nan lights, that's what they use to tan them. I don't think its right (my opinion) I will keep him on a good diet of prawn, fish and crickets that are gut loaded with pellets (thanks to Jwh for that) and I have no doubt that his colours will come out just fine. once he has moved into the new tank that will go up for him and the rays I will invest in some good led light..

To be honest I have little to no knowledge of the lights, have just heard about it. But awesome, I'm sure with the amazing care you are giving the new baby it will grow into a stunner!

    Thanks Reedfish

as for the rays I will be doing an up date on them soon as I have ordered there new tank and will have it in the next two weeks... I'm also hoping I have a pregnant Ray as I had the privilege of witnessing them mate and am hoping it was successful... its 2 and a half weeks now so still a little early as you can only see signs at 4 weeks...so a lot going on. but other than that they are doing real well. male Is sitting at 40 odd cm disk and female Is just short of 40cm

What size tank are you planning on getting?

Wow, that would be brilliant if you get pups.
