So over the past week or two I have been visiting my favourite two lfs looking for some nice Tangs to stock my tank.

Saw some of these interesting fish:

This ornate must have been approaching 30cm or so.
Hefty price tag, but a lovely fish.

    Tetraodon palembangensis
Full of character - followed me up and down the glass

Another Chungus. I was considering getting another one for the tank but I would rather get 3 more for a 4ft than put 2 in a 3ft. Incase of aggression issues.

There were 3 or 4 species of Bichir - all decent size. Much bigger than the ones that one usually sees.
Must have come in from someone's tank.

Now in a new genus - Pao palembangensis. Not that it matters much to the fish

I miss mine, but I'm glad there is an increased interest in puffers, true wet pets and very intelligent. Perhaps it's time you set up another tank, @Reedfish ?

I would love to have a fish room.
But I am not going to get approval from the managing director

I used to have a smaller (240l) tank, and all sort of plastic container breeding projects all over the house. The deal was that I could get a bigger tank, but had to shut down all the other “tanks”.
I have to honour my side of the bargain.

If fish keeping was my only hobby, I might get away with it, but.....the SO puts up with all sorts.

Might go visit fish shop again later today.

Those Laps look like wilds. We only see tank raised fish here, pretty cool.

    Definitely wild caught

This LFS gets tons of wilds.
They usual have loads of the fancy Plecs. But stock of this was low. I guess has to do with the world situation
