Just got some new fish from jack stone.
    Alto compressiceps so. Shell sumbu!
I have a trio in a 3ft tank, always wanted these as they hard to come by.

They have been eating like champs from day one although I am having bit of trouble with aggression between the male and the 2 females, hopefully resolved itself with time.

Very happy to have these fish and can't wait for some fry! These fish change color and patterns like chameleons, from a pale grey to a dull blue to dark stripes.

Not really finished with the scape, I had limited resources but have some larger dragon rock coming in and a few more plants. Also need to mount a new background, probably go with black in this tank.

Looking good @scotty_88 - I wonder how many different colors you can catch showing on a single fish as they settle in? Watch out for black backgrounds, they tend to effect the colors of the fish quite visibly, sometimes it looks great, other times not, I prefer a shade of blue to imitate open water. Black backgrounds tend to "suck" the light out of the tank so you might find you want to improve lighting after the background, or at least, don't bother changing it before.
@Dollar - Hehehe! Built for the kill... Altolamprologus look like they do so they can hunt small fish from the cracks and crevices of Lake Tanganyika's magnificent rock work!
