Started all over

Finally had some time 2 weeks ago to setup my tank the way i wanted it and took some time to do it.
Was in a rush to get the tank going so was not to happy with this.


So i started all over






And this is what it looks like at the moment still a bit murky

 

Looks much better like this. A black background would make all the difference IMO.

 

Got the background just waiting for it to clear up then i will put it up.

 

I like that "roadway" running underneath that arch. Looks nice, almost like a riverbed flowing underneath a fallen tree...
Yes, be sure to post a pic with background up and water cleared. And of course, 6 months down the line when the plants have settled you can post a "before" and "after" pic ;-)

 

Tank started clearing up. And got the black background on.

Just soaking my small tree there at the top a bit. Going to put some moss on it. Also getting my alanod soon for my lights.

Fits nicely. Was the old setup of 3x40 t8s not bright enough for your plants?

 

It was leke for some plants. But looks like some of the plants just fade away.

 

Tank is really looking good bud well done

 

A month with the new light unit and still very happy.
