    @perry41 ... now you pushing this hey
    I do crickets, all the worms etc.. now you expect me to do hissing cockroaches a swell!!!
    Hahahha ... I think his fish will starve if he is not here and i have to feed them cockroaches!!

    thanks so much for the kind words, thanks for the heads up on Jozibugs. ill give him a call.
    I have fed my Red Tail Golden Hissing Cockroach before and he did not refuse it at all. my rtg loves his crickets. I have also recently gotten a chilli red aro and he will only eat meal worms one day and crickets the next..

    regarding the rays, I have sent you a mail as to who has stock at the moment...

    How is your first batch of pups doing?

    Btw, in the bottom photo.
    Is that a Pike Cichlid?
    How is it with the Rays?
    I have heard they can be very aggro to other fish, especially other bottom dwellers.

    well I kept the male pup and he is doing well (will attach a pic)
    yes I have one atapajo Pike cichlid at about 30cm+ and yes he is a little agro towards the cichlids. but only if they go to his cave. other than that he is fine and will not go looking for a fight. so to say..
    as for him and the rays, I don't have any problem at all.... I also have a school of clown loaches in the tank and he leaves them alone..

    yes he has grown nicely..
    all my fish get fed twice a day...

    they have only had the one batch of pups. but I have to be honest.
    I have not really been trying very hard to get them to bread again as the females get really badly beaten up and I've been giving them time before adding the male again...

    I will probably be adding the male in again sometime this month to see how it goes...

    I am actually hoping my Rays don't breed.
    I don't have the facilities for this and it will probably lead to problems long term.

    there will be the time it happens, I also have to say they maybe you are one of the lucky ones were the male is not so harsh on the female and you could keep them together...
