I'm super stoked! Just went browsing at the lfs today, and say they got BEAUTIFUL apistogramma agasizzis!

But.... me and the wife were only browsing, so we left it there and went to PnP for grocery shopping.....

When we were done I was basically biting my lip..... told my wife that I wouldn't be able to sleep if I passed up this opportunity!!

So we went back and I got myself a pair!

Will try to get some pics, but my photography lets me rather not post pics.....

Why don't the LFS in our neck of the woods (Jhb and Pta) stock them as well. Very nice looking fish. Would love to get my hands on some of those.

Not just nice looking, great personality without menacing other fish.

If its any consolation, the lfs in the cape don't stock apisto's regularly either..... was the first time I saw agasizii's and sometimes you'll come across cacautoides, but that is basically it... have never seen borelli or macmasterii, not even talking about the species I REEEEAAAALLLYYYY want: hongsloi and viejita!

Now you are talking, those are amazing fish you have mentioned. I had a few of them, but lost them when I moved house at the end of 2010. My own fault, as they were doing really well before the move. @Dolphin was the guys who got them for me.

You want to put a couple of them in that Jebo you're bragging about? :blink1:

Apistos / rams / kribs patrolling the bottom range with a large school of tetras filling the top does look awesome!!

Yes that would be nice, wew only get the standard Blue Rams and Bolivian Rams. I am still undecided on the schooling fish. I am going to update today to show the progress on the plants....

Hey, That's why I have serious MTS, so that I can lay hands on these stunners and breed them locally to sell good quality Apisto's to the trade. What do you have by way of dwarfs?
