Tarantulas make great pets. Very low maintenance, and pretty nice display animals.

 

Know nothing about spiders so how is pricing determined?

 

Very much the same as fish, species, availability, size and sex. Also where you buy them, private sellers will be much cheaper.

 

I had a few of these guys when i was younger, had OBT's , pink toes, redknees, white knees etc. very very low maintenance. Had a versicolor(can't remember the proper species name) , it was the most beautiful spider I've ever seen. It's a pity people see eight legs and run away.
