Hmm. Looks like a neocaridina wild.

What other shrimp are in the tank?

Just these shrimp and some ghost shrimp. Some have a transparent yellow colouration with the dull stripes.[IMG]

Might not be worth the time trying to carry on this line at least I can get more into developing my reds and will give these wild types as a snack.[IMG]

If the wild colouration and the red shrimp are in the same tank, they will interbreed, and soon all the shrimp will be wild coloured.
To line breed the red shrimp you will need to cull quite aggressively, keeping only the best, and discarding the rest.
