Unusual tropical fish

    hey,
    So I've been looking around to no avail. I am looking for an unusual fish for my 50gallon. Currently, I have 1 three spot gourami, a rainbow shark, a clown loach and a pleco. I'm looking for an unusual fish that won't grow very fast as I will only be upgrading in the next year or so. Thanks in advance

    You say 50 gallons.. i assume the tank is 90 X 45X 50?
    I know you say you upgrading but until you do, personally i wouldnt add anymore fish until you do
    If its a common pleco that you have, he will outgrow that tank before you upgrade and so will the rainbow shark
    The pleco will produce a huge bioload on that tank... just think twice before you go ahead

    Agree with @MariaS
    I think your tank is stocked innapropriately as it is. Those fish will get too big for it.

    Most of the oddballs get quite big.
    So once you have upgraded can give further thought depending on what the size of the tank is

    Clown loaches grow up to 30cm and should really be kept in groups of 6+ for best results. Admittedly it takes a while to reach these sizes but they are a communal species and thrive with their own kind.
