User titles

    I was thinking we could do with jazzing up our user titles a bit, they're a bit boring, lol. What we have at the moment is....

    2000 Posts - Well Known Member

    How it works is when you reach a certain number of posts then your User Title gets changed.

    How about if we changed that to names of fish instead. Maybe scale it up in terms of difficulty or rarity or something like that?

    For example, a new member can be called a Guppy, when they get to 10 posts then can be called a Molly and so on until they reach maybe 5000 posts and they become an Arowana or something?

    Anybody got any names suggestions?

    250 = Angel
    500 = Discus
    1000 = Zebra Plec
    2000 = Stingray

    I think roughly 5 levels is sufficient?
    More than that looks a bit cumbersome?

    If you can add the first few too it would be cool, new members have to cycle first hahaha.

    say,
    5-ammonia
    10-nitrite
    50-nitrate
    and then the rest. They would be learning while posting.

    Oh and 3000-arowana, there must be an arowana.

    Also agree with this, I would say between 5 and 8 levels max ? Otherwise we lose track of who is what?

    Yes, I just filled in the huge list like a poepol haha. The cycle thing would be cool though, don't think any other site has that.

    TBH am not a fan of using the elements of the N cycle
    Would you want to be ammonia :confused:. ?
    Rather maybe egg, fry etc ?
