ViaAqua Pump and loadshedding

    Good day,
    I just wanted to ask I recently (2weeks ago) bought a VA80PF water pump for our cold water aquarium it is on a small surge protector plug but when we have load shedding the pump kicks back in but no air comes out, I then have to blow air manually through the nozzle at the top, This is a concern at night when I’m not awake to do this, could the pump be faulty? Or is this just a thing? Also if so, is there cheap solutions to keeping the power on during a load shedding.
    Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Try sticking a no return on the airline. Might stop the water going in it
