Wanted: Plantscaping equipment

Hi everyone,

Where could one purchase some basic plantscaping equipment? I'm thinking of some long handled scissors and maybe some long tweezers? I'm not looking to spend a fortune on what is essentially a longer version of something you can buy at Dischem.

Any ideas?

Those scissors and tweezers are expensive atleast 200 a piece

 

YOu can get them for R100 a piece if you look around.

Hi, I found using a simple surgical tweezers and scissors as effective. IMO i think the ones sold by major aquarium brands are way over priced.

 

Good thinking. Any idea where I could locate surgical tweezers etc? I see you're from CT but any leads will be good.

Cool. I did try one Dischem and all they had very ultra long nail clippers! Will try one of the bigger, better stocked Dischems.

 

Try to see if you can get the pharmacy to order one of the larger sizes. If you have the time you may also google medical companies that trade in medical consumables/ equipment. Here in CT there are a few medical companies that either stock or may be able to order the larger size tweezers. HTH
