What do you mean its to big?

Since this is a very low tech setup things do not change much quickly.

Rerouted the flow for better flow in the front part of the water section.

Cell photo of the cabinet, lights was just added to the top later.

Standing about 2m tall





Still need to do some planting but dont have the plants I need yet.

 

Looking for some low light plants so if anybody is trimming give me a shout.

Thanks Doubledutch, still need to sort out a background though. Just not getting something I am happy with. Water also having a lot of tannins lately but I think it is due to the water temp rising with the oncoming summer. Will add some purigen.

Yeah me too but here it has the potential to obscure the little light that reaches into the water.

Thanks @Broder there is only one snail in there cleaning up the aftermath of an algae war. Might become home to a single betta.

 

Oh yes... Bettas, my new found love! I reckon a nice light coloured on will stand out nicely against the dark wood.
