Which type of Kuhli is this?

I just bought a group of Kuhli's from my LFS, who had them labelled as just "Red kuhli loach". The thing that alarmed me is that on their info tag, they said that they grow to 30cm.

So immediately I started googling the different types of Kuhli's and found that there's another type of Kuhli known the Giant Kuhli Loach (Pangio myersi). Though, from what I can tell, those are the same length as the normal Pangio kuhlii, but just girthier.

So my question is, is there some kind of Kuhli that looks like this that can actually grow to 30cm? Or is my LFS just smoking their socks. Either way, what species do you guys think it is? Pangio kuhlii, Pangio myersi, or some other kind of Kuhli?

Its the standard one sold all over the country. I have kept dozens over the course of my fish keeping career. You are looking at about 10 cm head to tail. I had one so tame that it would sit in my hand if I placed it in the water. I also had one that got the front part of its face removed by an impeller. It survived and live a normal life except for being disfigured. I also had one that turned white with yellow stripes, I though it had died but then it swam away. That was just how it was I guess
