Bowfront tanks were quite popular at one point. Not so much these days though.

20L is quite small. Maybe some Micro Rasboras ?
Any photos of your current setup ?? Or is it still in the planning stage ?
Have you looked on You Tube ? Usually some good videos there. I don't imagine you will be able to do this without completely emptying the tank

I wouldn't run it from your home It would save you with rent and other expenses. But do you really want strangers coming into your house ??
It's way too risky trying to move a full tank You need to empty it of all water, decor, fish etc and move it and then put it all back together...
Throw the legal book at them They sold you fish which they either knew, or should have known, weren't suitable for the tank they recommended to you
