No problem. The safe lasts a really long time and you can get buckets with huge amounts. Try buying online. I usually find nice prices on it.
Safe is concentrated and dried prime. I have been adding safe directly to my fish tanks (with my fish sometimes ingesting it thinking its food)...

It's gonna leech for a long time. Can take from as little as a month to as long as a year or more. As long as you do regular WC it will be fine.
