12ft setup

Got the one on the left from a mate in pongola, olive wood. Tough to cut, overheated the grinder with diamond blade 3 times to get through.

 

im no expert with angels or disease so I wont comment but would sugest posting all the details here for those who are knowlledable before adding any thing to medicate .the pleco dying is just bugging me man .they are such tough buggers compared to angels .

 

The pleco was a south american Albino Pleco \ Spotted Pleco. Still small but the other one survived. Weird...

Have fun boet. The tank looks lekker. In my experience... the bigger the tank the more unusual things you can get away with. Normally in a closed system the fish are fairly predictable wth regards to their behaviour, but often in a large system like yours natural enemies will get on well or at least tolerate each other. If your water quality is good and you are feeding good quality food then all you need to do is keep an eye on how they are getting along and to rescue them if & when they need rescueing. Enjoy!

Thanks stormbringer101! I replaced some of the filter material over the weekend to see if i could get the water clearer but didnt help much... but like you say... Amazon in a living room :laugh:, and the fish like it alot.

 

Been there , If you want it clear you need to add lots of ac carbon at the final stage of the filter to get it clear But yeah the fish will love it
