Yep, we stumble around the room making amorous advances towards plants, statues and anything else that breathes! Oh wait, you said a FEW tots :-D

@Marco, that was a mouth full, but well worth reading:)

All I can say is ask, learn, ask, learn, experiment make mistakes but back to the drawing board again and again. I am no expert in keeping Discus, but believe me in the +/- 8 months I had my discus tank I have learnt a lot and made a lot of mistakes, but I was willing to learn and to this day (hope I don't jinx myself) my mistakes has not cost me anything, I have just gained and I know I will still gain alot more in the future.

@captain +1 for you taking advice given and not seeing it like an attack on your person like some people do.

@Marco dude don't mention me as a discus keeper, people will start to ask me questions and what then :) and just in case someone do want to know what I know about discus here it comes "If it looks funny, clean it" "If they look scared, clean it" "If they are to dark colored, clean it" "If you see something floating, clean it" "If you count less discus then you had before, you lost it" Newbs do not take this serious, clean it :)

O and Captain help look for some parodox angels and you can add some of them to your tank. Should look awesome and is bit more challenging to breed then normal fish or black lace angels would look awesome too.

Sounds like you've taken the dive into Discus @Vis. I'll follow suit shortly.

Only on the lowdown :) Kind of have a test "batch". No real potential to become something but I knew that when I bought them. Just wanted to see how things go in terms of feeding, cleaning and keeping them happy. Bought them and they had the normal discus disease like flukes etc and where able to get them back to rather good health.

Was afraid of getting some decent discus and killing them...... so I cleaned them.

But remember that even with decent discus you need to (sigh) clean them too

Here is the finished product. Cleaned up, nearly ready to add water. I'll let it stand overnight and add water tomorrow, and see if it actually holds up as supposed to.
