For Sale: 5ft Cabinet Tank - East Rand JHB

We have taken the decision to shut down and sell off our 5ft community tank. Just don’t have time for it anymore, and need the funds.


Location: Symhurst, Johannesburg

Shipping: Collection only, bring your own muscle!

Preference will be given to anyone who purchases everything all together.

The following is up for grabs:




5ft cabinet tank:

Tank is 45cm x 50xm x 1.5m with Glass sliders on tops and cabinet to match


Equipment:

T5 lighting (Needs attention not all working, suspect a ballast needs to be replaced)

Lighting includes provision for 4 x 54w T5 light tubes and 2 x 24w T5 light tubes

2x 300W heaters

Aqua One 1000 cannister filter

Internal filter

Azoo CO2 regulator with solenoid valve as well. Currently on a 2kg fire extinguisher cylinder (Reg has not been used for more than a year now, but was working perfectly when I was still “into” my planted tank)

…Whole lot of other bits and bobs which I can give the purchaser as well (battery operated auto feeder, battery operated air pump, normal elec air pumps, nets, whatever ferts / treatment drops left etc...)


Substrate:

Combination of Flourite DARK and Flourite RED. This is a great substrate for heavy root feeder plants like swords and crypts (it cost me a small fortune a few years ago!). Pic below of what went into the tank.

Bump... fish are mostly gone so hoping to move the tank now. R5000 for everything including all equipment and substrate

 

Bump, tank is now empty and ready to go. Looking for R5K including all equipment (filters, Co2, substrate, lighting, etc etc etc)

Lighting R500, buyer to dismantle / remove everything or:

5ft Cabinet tank R4000 incl lighting. Whole lot of smaller items which I will give to the buyer of the tank as well

Co2 R2000, will upgrade the 2kg fire extinguisher to a 5kg for buyer.
