    Hi guys,

So since I took the leap into a planted tank at work with my nano, I completely fell in love with the planted way of things.

So I decided to remove all the fake plants in my tank at home and replace them with the real deal.

Standard in the tank (Koral 60) was a Juwel 15W tube that I replaced with a Dymax 15W tropical tube.

Needless to say, my plant growth has gone through the roof!

I know it is not scaped yet and looks very bad. But I wanted to see if they would grow first. So hopefully in a month or so, I will be attempting my very first scape.

I am also looking for a NICE piece of driftwood to replace the plastic log in there. But not having much luck at the LFS's

Sorry for the bad quality pics, was taken with my phone...

So here is my tank with the fake plants:

And the same tank now with real plants:

Looking good, but why don't you use the wood from the first pic?

I would say it is well worth it. the Dymax tube is a lot brighter and I can see more growth.

Straight swop, just make sure it is also a 15W tube.
