The best for me was what I overheard in a LFS:
"Will it be ok if I put the Khuli loaches in with the oscars?" Nuthead!

I also fell for the same sales pitch sailing derrick. i bought a 3foot and i bought 2 oscars a blood parrot and a convit and was told that the tank was def big enough. now of course i have found out it is way way way to small. now i am in a real pickel coz i don't have the space in my house to have a tank big enough for the fish. Oh well life must go on.

Well it's big enough, but then they won't be living their full lifetime, which ultimately means you would kill them in the small tank.
