Ada added.

Half of my ada aquasoil in my tank and can't see anything. Also bought this for ammonia.

Will this help for an ammonia spike?

 

I wouldn't worry too much... Add some filter floss to the filter to clear up the cloudiness. It should go away in a day or 2.

If your tanks filter is cycled, there shouldn't be much traces of ammonia.

 

Just gonna test for ammonia also in a day or 2. Must i add all of it now or the rest later? Or will it go brown once i disturb the soil again.

 

I'd add it all. But add it VERY slowly.

 

Is it new ada soil ? Then do remember wc

 

Yes it is new i rinsed it about for 3 days. How many water changes must be done?

You only rinsed for 3 days? Then you didn't follow the instructions I gave. It leaches ammonia for the first 2-3 weeks.

You will need to do big water changes every 2 or 3 days for the next week or so...

How much aquasoil have you added to the tank?

 

Went to francoisve yesterday to buy killi fish and he told me i must put it in and keep an eye on my ammonia.
But will do big water changes and i still have the am guard, ammonia remover rocks in my filter rhat i put in today.

 

I don't believe in these ammonia removers and stuff , might work but do keep with the instructions , ada will spike ammonia like Sean J mentioned

 

Ok will do those water changes every 2nd or 3rd day.
