    I like the clown pleco...I will go read up on them, but are they any good?

    Hmm. It would seem that I have been fooled, and actually own bristlenose plecs, not clowns.
    Strange, they don't do anything to my plants. (yet) And I love them, got lots of character.

    if you keep them well fed with vegies and pellets for vegie eaters they should stay off your plants. the problem comes in when they get hungry and chomp away

    Dont get a clown if you need a good cleaner fish :p mine is uselesss at cleaning and waits for me to feed him but they do have so much personallity :p
