Wanted: Angel fish

Im looking for small Altum Angels to buy at a reasonable price in Pretoria ? anybody know where ?? or who breeds them ?

 

Have been looking here in JHB as well, the closest to Altums Ive seen are the Dantums at Jungle

 

you wont get altuns in RSA. need to import them

 

I saw them once as they were a special import at loolilocks
Will come with a price tag, just for 4 fish is R2400 they were like 6-8cm size
I am not sure if anyone will be willing to help you out as they dont ship well.
but then again, the 4 I saw at the shop survived, so i guess there are guys
that are able to get these

 

I'm breeding Peruvians which are similar looking to the Altums, but my babies are only about a week old...

 

Hi @Skye01 how long before you will be alble to sell me 2 or 4, im still building my tanks bio system so maybe in the middle of next month or so ?

 

I think it will have to only be in a couple of months time, that they should be big enough to sell on without the risk of them dying. Will that be ok with you?

 

They weren't altum angels.

 

@Skye01 sure i will hold off on buying them at the shop will wait till yours are big enough, i will start with the other species so long as the time passes.

I hope you are refering to the angles that im talking about...
The ones that was kept at the back office, actully in "Bruces" office which is locked at all times
Getting pass there will have to pass Denis office.
And no it was not for public sale so it was not in display nor was discussed to the public as they were special orders

You are most likely refering to the Dantum angels and I can Assure you that they never at one stage said it was angles.
They will never do that anyawy - Also They sold the Dantums for R90-R100 so compared to the Altums...
The batch that Dirk is refering is most likely the first batch which they should of resolved it.
No Dantum angles will sell for R2400..

 

So i am correct in saying that Loolilocks has never had altum angels for sale.

 

@DewaldC, you are correct, they were Peruvian Angels and not the Altum Angels. And this is the same batch that mine came from, via @gdt78. I know that he paid quite a steep price for them...
