Wanted: aquarium substrate

Hi,

Anyone have recommendations on where I can buy substrate - ADA, Fluorite, or any other recommended product? Im out in the Witbank/Middelburg area so am thinking online order?

All depends what you want to do with them substrate ..

What size tank are we talking about ?

What plants / fish are you looking short term vs long term ( 2 - 6 years )

Ferdie - planning my first attempt at keeping plants alive indefinitely. Picked up an el-cheapo 100l tank a while ago thats been sitting in my garage, playing mind games with me, and.... waiting to catch my wife unawares... Havent given the type of plants & fish much thought yet - 1st priority is simply to get all the basic elements together, get it planted with a few easy plants & playing around/see how it goes with the plants and water before considering fish.

Any suggestions for easy/beginner plants?

 

Can't help you with substrate...but I am happy to see a fellow Middelburger on here...first time in years

 

I believe there is no Ada to be found in the country at this stage.
