assorted mosses

hi folks so since i'm on hols now i'm going to be doing some maintenace on some of my tanks which includes some trimming of my wild moss. i have a mengelmos of java and flame, could be spikey then i have some willow as well. i'm looking for some rotala indica, ludwigia aruata or anything else not readily available, i'll give away as well, share and share alike i always say. interesting crypt sp would also be appreciated or any type of carpeting plant. on a side note this is not coming out of my 1.2m but from my 70L betta setup and my 20L betta setup.

 

Is there any chance i could get some willow clippings???
I've been looking for quite a while...
I am willing to pay for it...

no need too, i got this from Vis for nothing so wouldnt be right to charge folk for it now. i'll be back in pta next week and we can arrange something, pick up or drop off. my stuff has gone crazy so it really needs a trim, i already have a jar of the java spikey/flame mix. tanks changing alot again lol

Hi B, I never had willow moss.
The ones you got from me was spikey,taiwan,flame,java and christmas I think.

 

Can I buy some Spikey , flame etc from you ???

hey @Vis, huh ok my bad i thought the christmas moss and willow moss was the same thing. i'll post a pic of the moss that i'll be trimming tonight so everyone can see what i'm trimming and which ones they want.

i do find it interesting i think its the xmas moss it becomes exposed by the end of the week as i my mom doesnt fill the tanks its something i prefer to do myself. its grown very flat and the fronds are broader and flatter, overall quite nice

 

any chance of shipping some??
live in cape town ill take some of every kind you have to offer would love to toss the java moss or give it to somone on this forum have enough of this stuff to make a soccer ball lol. also have some plants if you want? will post the names when i get home to have a proper look!! and will pay for good measure if needed but be nice!!!

ok so those oare the pics of the mosses, i thought i'd sneak one in of the full tank lol just to see how the moss looks in situ so to speak

 

Can i please have some of the moss in the second picture??? That in the 3rd picture looks like flame moss which i already have...

 

@BugMan jup, you may be able to try that emmersed, by friday mine is often above water on the top and as you can see it just grows shorter. ive never shipped before and i'm abit nervous to try. i suppose i could post it in snail mail... would that be ok?

 

I could come and collect it next week if that is ok with you?

@windfire, thanks a million the moss is in great condition and will be going in soon, I think the one is spiky though not flame but let me have a closer look when I am not cleaning tanks...

Do you still have any of your mosses left? I would really love to get some as I'm wanting to play a bit with a "Bonsai" tree design, and I'm struggling to find moss here on the ER. I'm prepared to pay for it as necessary.
