    Hi Charles How often can i give babymarrow to the Bn and do i need to cook it or can i give it uncooked?

    Ive just got about 20 Mbuna and 2 Haps along with the Sinodontis.

    About the baby marrow/cucumber..... i feed my BN's like twice a week. They nibble on tetra prima that my cory and neons dont get to but they do get algae wafers as a staple.

    Good luck trying to breed those Ancistrus. Keep us posted.

    Personally I would have done what @timothy m said.

    @blueskipjack, you can feed them baby marrow daily. If you have small BN fry you can blanche it first for about 1 min in the microwave in a liitle bit of water, this also helps to make it sink. I use a small fork, slice the baby marrow in half and stick the fork in it on the side. Check the baby marrow daily as it will become mushy after a day or two especially if you blanched it first. Make sure to wash any veggies thoroughly before you put it in your tank. Be sure to slice it through the middle length wise, this way more fry can feed on it. For adults put one for each as they tend to fight over it.

    Thank you I only have the pair at this stage and feed them daily as you are doing.Will keep a eye open for the marrow not to rot in my tank.
