2 weeks, think it is going to be 2 very loooooooooooonnnnnnngggggg weeks for you @wrenchy. Any progress on the stand thus far?? Had a look on the last photo's posted, looking better each day. Sorry to hear about the trouble you experienced with your machine, hope it is not to serious:push: Agree with @Pauline, doors will look excellent on it to hide your filter as you have said.

@Pauline the decision has been made on the doors goin with glass doors like a frameless shower i think! not clear glass though a white glass, kinda like a milky white, think it will look really cool, well i hope so!!

similar to the glass in this pic

@wrenchy, I'll recommend braces as you are going to sit with 303 liters of water and the pressure exerted think is going to be high, sitting with a 230 liter tank and it does have cross bracing, rather be safe than sorry at the end of the day.

It all depends on how thick the glass is.

If you build the tank with 10mm glass you can leave the braces. Anything less you will have to brace it.

That gives a safety factor of 3.5.... should be more than fine as an unbraced tank.... + It just looks SO much nicer....

with a FOS of 3.5 you can go braceless, and i agree with @azurekoi it looks much cleaner and nicer.

Hi @wrenchy - we often have at work - I think equipment comes packaged in it. I threw out a bakkie load about 2 or so months ago, when i dismantled the music studio. I'll ask tomorrow. What's the footprint dimensions again?
