Hi all. Hope all is well. I have a question DIY related. For a DIY CO2, I'm talking with gas tank and regulator etc, can I use a propane/gas tank? I know the question has been asked before but I couldn't remember the answer. Would it be safe to use? Fire-extinguishers are getting expensive and these seem like a cheaper option. Your input will be great, thanks.
Co2 tanks work at a much higher operating pressure and therefore have a greater tank wall thickness. It will be extremely dangerous to use any other tank, in fact I don't think the refill guys will ever fill it for you due to the danger factor.
