Clown Loach Lovers

Sorry for your loss Caudelia, its never nice too lose fish, even fry or eggs for that matter. All the Loaches are awesome on this thread, I always wanted a clown loach but they get too big for my liking and my critters will never make it. I have some Kuhli`s in my 4ft and they are very nice and peaceful. What loach can I keep that doesn't grow too big and will be critter friendly?

Thanks guys so much but ai i just cant help feeling this loss, my own kids would never dare touch my tanks but they are older,, needless to say im not talking to my gran! The biggest one i raised for 2 yrs! He was the size of my hand and 4 of em survived whitespot with me! God forgive me but i wanted to strangle him! Seriously cant stand naughty kids

 

I traded my malawis in for 6 clown loaches in my 4ft...Going to get a bigger tank when they outgrow the 4ft...

I gave up my malawis for the loaches coz their aggressiveness got to me

 

Oh no i have 7 clown loaches with 16 angels - no probs

 

If I may ask...what size tank do you have & what do you feed them? I really like them & want to learn all there is...going to get another clown this afternoon & 10 tiger barbs for my 4ft...Will upgrade to a 6ft next year or when they outgrow the 4ft

 

They are in a custom 4ft tank, tetra bits, cucumber, bloodworm, tabimin, they dnt eat tubifex worms for some reason.

 

Really? I just bought some tubifex freez dried worms...

 

Can you post a pic of the testra bits for me pls? The packet-I can't seem to find any

 

Tell me...Do I reaallllllly need to put flowers in my tank with the loaches & barbs? If so I need co2 right & all that extra equipment? They really seem to enjoy the Tetra bits I bought them...they still seem to quite shy when I approach the tank

 

it comes in a yellow bottle with blue lid,
its just mine that dnt eat it I think,
they wont be shy for long as long as you have enough hiding spaces fro them. they all need their own lil nook

So I got 10 Tiger barbs with my 7 clowns...Tank still look a bit "empty" what do you guys think I can add? Maybe some more barbs?

 

Hello peeps wondering if anyone wants to take my clowns off my hands. Doing a tank rescape and don't have a place to keep them for the long period. Will have to re-cycle my tank. So I'd rather get them a new home than torture them to death. Love the little guys. Have 4. About 6-7cm each.

Unfortunately, I lost one of these big guys, so I sold the remaining three.

But I love clown loaches so much, and now there's a empty space (in my heart!) so I'm seriously considering getting a little school of small ones going again...
