co2 problem

    Another problem so to speak,how do you know how much co2 to dose?

    Oscar, this has been the question that EVERYONE asks. I can tell you that you are dosing too little... but I am in the process of writing up an article on dosing CO2. All yours questions will be answered there, and all the answers you thought you had will be left with more questions.

    never a truer word spoken.cant wait for the write up.i have sinc bumped it up since saturday the 5 foot is now the high tech planted setup(wish me luck and no algae)but i understand that even where i bumped it up to is now not enough so will be increasing it again to 34bpm

    AGREE here with ZOOM - I'm doing 3 bubbles per SECOND.... 4 months in and the growth is amazing

    I have to trim ounce a week :)

    NOTE the tank is 1200L
    and aso using plant ferts

    I have a 340L tank which is heavily planted(will be when the plants get going)4 t5s 10 hours a day 5 and 5

    another problem.
    i'm still using the bubble counter while i wait for my drop checker to arrive problem is the water in the bubble counter keeps getting blown out an into the tank is this normal?thats #1,#2 is the portion of the pipe where its connected to the filter looks like theres some kind of sludge build up there is this also normal?
