Hi It does change to a very very light green at the end of 8 hours of CO2 . The amount of bubbles I must guess due to speed . Between 6-8 per second. Everything is doing great in tank fish ,plants accept for accelerated white sand turning brown . I am not going to ramp up the CO2 . I am glad that I did not experience algae bloom yet. Due to putting it in directly in my Jebo " wave maker" it is on its highest setting . They claim 8000 liter per hour . The distribution is thus great . Can see very small CO2 bubbles on the plants . Yes this method might kill the wave maker but my diffuser still does not work after 48 hours soak .
I did it the way you said. It is working perfectly My Co2 is finaly set up. I now realise that my Previous gate valve must have been slowly leaking. The presure with the new valve and old valve is completely different. My bottle must have been almost empty with the old gate valve when i started
So got my shipment today from CO2 supermarket . Even though at my post office from the 13 April already incoming tax was R164 A CO2 reactor CO2 clear and black tubing very different to normal silicone tubing. A decent Bubble counter and two packs Micro and macro fertilizer
@Lysine . Be sure to check setup of your reactor on YouTube. Apparently the inlet and outlet pipes are fragile
Got it installed and the diffuser seems on par . No visible bubbles at outlet. If anybody can get there hands on one would highly recommend. The issue that you will need to be aware thou is the inlet and outlet pipes needs a clamp as it does leak if not tightly fastened or installed without a leak. Read the instructions. I did not like most men and saw that you need to tip the unit to get the gasses out.
