Designerguppy Challenge 2: Big Blues

Dark?

 

Yup compared to the other 2 fry i got from the other female.

They seem to have dark coloration. Even darker than all my other fry.


Ps: its the darker female's fry.

Interesting, they do carry a black Moscow gene. That is why the males color up all the way to the head.

 

Okay so good news,

Pulled another 16 Fry from the Blue Tub this morning, i now have 73 Blue fry in total, the 1st Drop of 2 fry i have a Male and Female, Male started Showing Color (Yellowish) but this turns blue as they mature if i am not mistaken @Vis ?

 

Hi Andrew, yes they start of yellow and then go blue.

Pulled 13 more fry from the blues tub this morning they were hiding in the plants.

And i turned my old 4ft into a devided tank so i kan separate the fry sexes into they're own tanks. For growing out.

Okay so i am pretty bummed.

My 1st 2 fry turned out blue bodied with a yellow and RED tail. It did not turn blue as expected it turned RED.

I will take photos tomorrow and post.

But on a side note the 2nd batch of fry are showing blue tails and fins which i am stoked about!
