Nothing has happened to the fry don't worry that was just a wrong post. I will be adding some more pics in the next couple of days, I was trying to on Sunday but it kept failing after the 1st pic uploading I don't know if the prob way my side or the forums but anyway I will try again soon. They are doing very well and still eating like mad, I am expecting a shipment of hi protein for from Dirk in a week or so, so it will really be game on from then.

    Hi 1300wipass

I have met Gerhard before he has some beautiful fish. My PB was I am guessing 5 to 6 months when I got him in Jan 2011 and the RT I also estimate at about 5 months when I got her and that was about a year later I'm not to sure (@salim can you remember the date I got them from you) give or take 1 months but never the less I have been told that Red Turquoise sexually mature faster than all other strains of Discus so if you are hasty to try and have a g at breading then they are the strain to get as well as being good parents .

    Regards

    Jason

Yes I can vouch for that, my RT i got from him in Aug last year was about 4 months aswell and he was big at that time. Right now he is about a year old and he is already bigger than most 2 year old discus, it look like he/she paired up with a cobalt i got from gerhard aswell even though the cobalt is only about 10 months, im not sure if i should experiment with putting in a breeding cone as they both still too young i feel, but both have been displaying breeding behavior.

Nice pix btw! keep us posted
