DIY Pebble background

You may need to leave the pebbles in the water for a few weeks. Mine only came apart after 2 weeks.

 

I know this idea wont have the same beatiful effect as putting actual stones in. But one could build the wall against plastic. Then use high res camera (need a high dpi setting not megapixel for printing) to photograph it and get it printed on vinyl with a wide format printer. You could also photoshop the picture to add and remove detail
