DIY Presurized CO2 start

For sure Pressurized CO2 is awesome if you can afford it go for it.

 

Haven't used any fertz yet. I'm actually looking at putting a shopping list together... The initial outlay for CO2 is high, but I can live with the costs in terms of refilling and what not. I'll prob get some Fertz and CO2 in the next month or so.

Getting a lps that actually has stock / sells what you want is always a issue though. Panorama said they get their stock at the end of the month / first week in the new month, so I'll definately be going arround then. Just the type of plants and type of fish that I have isn't making me feel warm and fuzzy inside - especially not after seeing some of the tanks posted here.

haha, dit was nie een van dai 3 nie.. Sal die naweek weer gaan skimp... @cknipe , just do your homework before buying, I could have saved a few bucks on this whole setup, but still worth it.
Sadly I noticed some vallis melting, I had the similar problem before with bunching them to close together, removed half of them.....
Now for the other part---- What is the best canister for this 100L and also lily pipes ? Hob just isn't working for me with the flow, if I get a canister I can remove the vallis and get some Proserpinaca Palustris in its place, if I do go canister

 

So new plants from Beaterweather and things starting to be looking better DSD is working , even in my NO TECH tank

@WillemNicolaas wens ekt vroer geweet -- ekt nog so vragie in die lowtech tenk hulle is nou geel want hulle dryf, nou sopas in co2 tenk gesit, as hul recover bring ek hulle Saterdag , anders trim ek en sal vir jou bring soos hulle aankom, in 5 dae sien ek n groot veskil in die glosso :biggrin: . @Dinky NEE , die hond het net te groot verbeelding oor himself , ek wil hom iets aandoen en hy net so aan my, problem is eks nie bang vir die helitjie nie, maar hys nog minder bang vir my , LOL . Regs agter is n plant wat ek nou op verlief is is Ludwigia glandulosa , myne wys meer groen, maar pers het begin deurkom in minder as n week wat ek dit het. OJA en BTW ekt nog nie hier gepost en geupdate nie, ekt wel n tetratec EX700 gekry met cade lily pipes :blink1:

Kyk ek reg, het jou hond twee verskillende kleur oe? Ek sien dit nogal baie by skaaphonde.

Cabinet almost finished, luckily my t5 system with reflectors are complete at last
Do hope the HC will get growing now

Dink dit gaan absolutely stunning lyk as die plante nou mooi uitgegroei het en al die kleure begin uitstaan!

 

Thanks julle, its like gutter pipe but its the thinner one , about 50mm i think , the normal gutter makes a huge diffrence , works and reflects better than the foil i used. I see i have to update the tank again , looks much better now.... The price on that pipe was about R50 i think for 2m, then i had to split the pipe in 2 , but it works really good and can see the diffrence in the light, i also used this in betta tank and will fit gutter pipe on the low tech aswell

 

Okey so a small new update, tried trimming, also removed some plants and replanted the trimmings.
The glosso I removed some -the loose roots, taking over, might remove HC as no one can help me with the problem
