I placed an order with these guys https://hydroponic.co.za/ .... no clue if they really exist or how long it will take.

    So lets see.

The one plus sign. They seem to have two physical shops in CT ... so hopefully the have stock and actually do exist ;-).

Nah --- I bought about 20kg's worth of stuff ... so the courier cost was very acceptable.

Look R70 for 1 kg MKP is very very cheap .. actually the rest of the stuff they have is not to bad either - lets see.

BTW the H202 is also a good deal .. if you ever need that volume or strength.

That strength of h2o2 is potent...i checked other sites and they charge double the amount for the power feed. So they are definitely cheap.

Ill order my stuff tomorrow and see what happens.

Yeah - and still no silver bullet, well not something that works in all my tanks all the time. Having 1 or two spare tanks allows me to do mini experiments ... those that are promising get posted others run for multi-season lets see what happens. The goal is always to find fertz that work on a large number of tanks with more or less consistency among them. Sad thing, I loose interest when things are working, that is when I make big changes and the cycle starts all over again ;-)

Some might argue that if one just sticks to the commercial aquarium stuff then it would be cheaper and less frustrating in the long run ... and I agree, but then I would probably not still be in the hobby right.

Last time I did pure KNO3 and MKP was right in the beginning, a few cycles ago ... it worked great - actually that was with DIY CO2 also - so I know that works and works very well. So lets see what then next 2 years brings ;-) ... I feel like a reset to some degree is required. I still have much to learn .. so best keep going.

For my notes on what I am thinking - OC+ will still go under some plants like the pink crypts.

But then I am considering ... 20g MKP

    1/2 dose so 5ml of

When I need it - clearly not today right.

After a long argument with myself about going EI - I will probably be doing the more formal PPS-PRO, I just could not win the conversation about washing sooooooo many fertz with the continues WC into the garden.

Will be using the OC+ for the heavy root feeders, I am not 100% in agreement with all the statements and thoughts with the PPS-PRO thinking but the 80% that matters makes total sense 99% of the time.

    Need to put this somewhere

For 20g dry mix into 500ml then dosing 30ml in a 220l tank gives you the pp, on the right - I think ;-)
