Endlers or endler hybrids

Hi Guys,

Just getting back on track with the Endler/Endler Hybrids.

About 2 years ago I purchased some Endlers from Pet Masters in Boksburg, and not being much the wiser regarding which was which I added them in with my regular Guppies. I have subsequently had some stunning throws both in colour and tail ranges with the stunning body colourings of the Endlers. The question is: I have some males that look almost identical to the original Endler males that I bought and what I would like to do is get some "virgin" females from my existing pure strain of Endlers and cross them with these males, do you think that I could get back to the 'original' strain that I bought from Pet Masters, or do you think that there would be too many throw backs from the Guppy Hybrids/mixes?

 

@Skye01 it would be a tedious process and take alot of cross breeding from the treat you will like to fix.

 

It might just be worth the trouble if you could see just how stunning these are. They are mostly black and lime with some orange and red. I'll try post a pic.

 

OK, yesterday I was far too busy at work to be able to attend to the order, but we need to sort this out this morning asap.

The order is now closed for anyone else wanting to come on board, we must now finalize the order and distribute the transport costs next.

Pity about your pulling out Ryno, can't woerman keep the fishes for you in the meantime until you can collect? Please answer Ryno, asap.

I have now checked my stocks of food and I only have 3 x 100 g of the Sealife proactive 2 and 3 x 100 g of the Sealife proactive 1. More will arrive at the end of the month, but I want you woerman to adjust this on that spreadsheet please, so that you (woerman), Irma and Jenn take 100 g each of the Sealife proactive 1. Then Irma, I actually want to suggest to you to take 100 g of the Sealife proactive 2 instead of the 1 as this is also good for the guppies that are slightly larger. Please indicate if this is ok asap so woerman can adjust the order. Just reply on this thread please Irma. Flakes and Ducky Perls I can supply as ordered, no problem. Woerman, once everyone has replied please adjust the spreadsheet and repost please.

After we have agreed on this I will distribute the costs of the transport. I am aiming to get the whole order freighted on a flight at 11h00 tomorrow morning to arrive at Johannesburg at 13h00 which would mean that it could be collected at the Air Cargo section (not passenger terminal) at about 13h30. You get there via a different turnoff from the R21 and you show the Air Waybill Number, which I will supply you with, and you show your ID and then you are given the goods. Will this suite you Woerman or should we move this to later?

Once I have your answers we can move to getting the payments sorted out.

Yip - this is fine with me.
So instead of the 2 x Sealife proactive 1 I will get:
1 x Sealife proactive 2 and
1 x Sealife proactive 1

 

Delivery times are fine with me. That way I can beat the traffic.

All fine for me. @woerman I'll meet you at the airport. The last time I fetched something there they weren't all that punctual and had bumped the shipment to a later flight. It's a good idea to check before you go that the flight is on time and the shipment is on the flight. I'll pm you my number so we can co-ordinate.

 

OK thanks for the replies, I think we have everything pretty much sorted out.

I have now made a booking for the freight with SAA and the flight departs at 10h50 to arrive at 12h50, so woerman you must then collect at the airport after 13h20, remember to bring along your ID.

Woerman, will you please send me, Jenn, Irma, Bella, Ryno and Bylaag, a PM with your true name, street address and mobile phone number please. I need these details so that I can ship the goods to you and I need to phone you to give you the Air Way Bill Number on Friday morning after I hand in the goods at CT airport. The other folks need your details so that they can contact you directly, I would think, to arrange collection.

Then the costs of the freight will be R300 I have been informed. This is an estimate and will most probably go up, but I am happy to absorb this. I will not charge for fuel costs to deliver to the airport. Total costs of all your orders combined comes tp R1689. I have now distributed the costs rounding up to the nearest Rand for transport charges based on the rand value of each ones order.

Costs per person:

Irma: R470 + freight R84 = R554
Woermann: R382 + freight R68 = R450
Bella: R280 + freight R50 = R330
Bylaag: R50 + freight R9 = R59
Ryno: R160 + freight R29 = R189
Jenn: R345 + freight R62 = R407

Please check my arithmetic and tell me if I have made a mistake and then after this we can go over to the payment.

One question on the Sea Life Proactive, can you use it to feed the endlers? If not, what is most suitable for them?

Bylaag,

I feed my Endlers on sealife proactive only with maybe a bit of frozen cyclops now and again, but Endlers will eat all high quality foods, no problem.
