I want big pieces of wood for my aquarium. I will pay but no shipping - we meet face-to-face.

Please post pics of what you have and a price, and please include where you live/go on a regular basis.

    Cheers,
    Danelle

    Hi,
well, how big is your aquarium? I might be able to help a bit... but big in a 60cm aint big in a 1.5!

...if I have a suitable piece, there would be no cost, just have to find a lift, or you pay postage...

It should fit in a 90x30x30 tank to be safe - I *might* get a bigger one but the wood mustn't take over the tank.

Gosh - just looked on google maps - It's far away from me and I won't be able to get it. How big is it and how much will postage be (estimation of course) ?

Can I have a pic of it?

The piece I had in mind is about 40cm long - it's a nice chunky bit, took it out of my 90cm cos it didn't suit my scape.

Postage, not sure, but I think below 1kg is about R25. Pic, sorry, can't do right now, have no camera so I have to borrow!

And DON'T underestimate TASA members... we have ways and means!:creep: I have a fish bred in Joburg swimming around happily next to me! (and it cost me nothing! just fishy friends helping!) I think I might know someone who comes to your area regularly.

If you can be patient till tomorrow, I'll post a pic?

Good news :) No problem. 40cm is a nice size but if it's too thick it might look weird. But I mean, if it's free I'll take it! :p If you know someone who come here some time soon, it will be much appreciated if you could get it nearer to me :)
