@Reedfish, I guess you right but compared to Snoopy, Cesar's RTG, it probably eats three times what Snoopy eats!

And if its hungry, it keeps trying to jump out the tank if it sees any moth flying around the lights in the evening.
One day its going to knock itself out!

I cant tell you exactly how old.... his certificate says he was chipped on the 28th March 2016

I would imagine he would have to be at least about 6 month old...
@Jwh, what do you think? I know you mentioned this not so long ago in one of your posts

Still a youngster then, with the way he's eating he'll become a monster haha. Are you going to tan him to see if he reddens up more? Being young and already very red without tanning you might have a extremely expensive fish in 5 years or so. Maybe even in the 100k region. The one on that documentary was worth $5000 thats R70 000 and yours looks more red than that one.

@BoelderBeestie ... I havent really decided on the taning yet...
Some say you should start now but he is looking so nice and his red is coming through so beautifully that Im tempted to let nature take its course and see how it goes.
For now, Im using the sunlight globe which some say is sufficient if the genes are there

Sound about right, the aro's need to be in the 15-20cm range to have sufficient bulk to be chipped, on my certs it also only gives the chipped date not birth date

@MariaS Beautiful Arowana, WOW! Is it a chipped super red? Around 17k a pop I believe, you're braver than me! LOL! I just have a silver and wow what a picky eater! It's growing though, but has unfortunately developed drop-eye on the one side, I hope that it grows out of it! You're lucky! Enjoy!
