I had an angel fish that got the same treatment. To be honest I didn't add any salt or meds and didn't split them up due to a lack of space but I agree that you should do it. angel recovered and it still lives today. I didn't think the tail would grow back but it did

That's why I didn't see it as a problem when I was told about it his colours were perfect and even when I bagged him and put him in the new tank his colours were great. He seems to be doing well and I'm sure he will be 100% shortly. I'm just worried that the pair will be divorced bow

Not likely..... i have separate and put back and all's fine my side..

 

So the parents are back together and colours are incredible. Just put the female in the tank and she is dark purple which is the colour she would go just before she laid eggs! So might have a 3rd batch coming soon but will be interesting getting the babies out of a 4ft...

The eldest batch are almost ready to go. And I might even have 1 or 2 albino. If that is the case I will try breed with them and get more albino for you all

The first batch of Fry have grown a lot and should be ready for sale in a few weeks!



Second group of Fry are doing well and the female is busy guarding her third group now.

Unfortunately she killed my male even in the 4ft so I will be looking for a new male or hopefully get a pair of albinos

Guy came in and bought all of mine....... I can now afford to feed fish again, well for a while.

Send me a message of how many you want and we can organise collection etc.

Some will be going to a pet store on Tuesday and the rest that aren't sold I'm going to bulk sell to other LFS so if you want them cheap let me know!
