    We will need more pictures ... the tank construction is interesting.

    Are these normal plate glass tanks that you framed with black wood moulding.. must say it looks stunning !!!

    both is 10mm glass,with black flow coat that they use on boats aver super ply wood,if you put enough epoxy paint over it,the water does not go into the wood!on the left tank there is 4 t5 lights,I only use 2 bacause all 4 just let the alge grow like mad,on the left there is 3 diffrent spectrum 4ft t8.I will post more pics of the planted tank

    Where did you get the spounge filters from? Been looking for them everywhere but can't seem to find any?

    @Yster got some of the spunge filters from Altum,others from our local LFSes in PE,after asking for them,most of them stock them now,ultimate aquatics got loads of them at the moment!
    @Reedfish,thanks,the pics does not always do them justice!

    @Khalid,I had trouble with the planted tank a year ago when long hair algea took over all my plants,but for the last 10 months no problem at all,ones all my plants started to grow,it was the end of my algea problem!

    All my tanks get direct sunlight. The only problem tank is the planted tank as I do water fertilization.
    Any tips will help?

    hi Khalid,my tank is overstocked,so the only fertz my plants get is the poo and nitrates there of,I have never put anything into my tank to give plant growth a boost!So sorry I cant help you on that one,but I am sure someone on Tasa will be able to!!
