freebie, livingstone cichlid (7-8cm) and Frontosa Cichlid (6-7cm)

Hi, so I bought malawis for the first time and from the "malawi mix" tank I got a livingstone and a Frontosa, not knowing how big they get. The seller kept very quiet which to me is terrible as I bought them with Jewels, powder blue cichlids andother similar species and they knew that they would go in the same tank. They even wanted to sell me jack dempseys to keep in my malawi tank!!! Luckily I knew about the JD and mixing south american and african cichlids.

I can't keep them as they need a minimum of 400+ liters. They cost me at R100 for both but I'll gift them to someone with the right tank setup for free. YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM IF YOU HAVELESS THAN 400 LITER TANK!!!

Hahaha yeah, it's somewhere between Joburg and Potch. About 70km from Joburg on the N12

 

Oh and btw I didn't know the species at the time of purchase, I found out through some research when I got home.

I'm not so sure anymore whether it is a frontosa...finding it hard to find a name when I have no clue what african cichlid it is and only have to go on pictures onli e. If I still have them when I go to KGD I will let you know

 

Ok aftersome more research I found it is a dwarf frontosa/five bar cichlid/poor mans frontosa. Doesn't grow that big, so I'll keep that one but thelivingstone is still up for grabs. It grows 35cm!
