Selling my 1.2m fish tank. It's a standard 1.2 so dimensions are 120x45x45, holds 240 litres. It comes with a metal stand as well as the canopy. The canopy has had holes cut into the sides to allow for the hang on filter and an automatic feeder. Apart from that everything is in perfect condition. Tank is probably about 9 months old (bought new from Bothasig fish shop). Reason for sale is that I had to upgrade to a larger tank to accommodate some new fish.
Included with the tank:

• Some ornaments and substrate
• Brand new ballast
• 2 90cm T8 bulbs (one normal fluorescent the other is coral/pink)
• Dolphin H800 hang on filter

Basically fill with water and add fish.

I also have a 90cm power chrome Giesemann T5 light bulb. Bought it, put it in the lighting unit and it was too bright for my fish so it's basically useless to me now. Been used for all of half an hour. Paid R300 looking for R200 since it is literally brand new (still in packaging, packaging is just torn at the base).

Located in Cape Town. Cash is king. ​

 

Also have a Fluval 404. Had some issues with it but that was due to a missing rubber cover on the impeller. Had the rubber replaced so it should be running fine now. One of the clips on the impeller cover is broken but that didn't affect the functioning of the filter. Take them both for R1400

 

What's your new setup looking like ? Its always fun to upgrade

 

Its still in its teething process but looking good I think (Oscar just finished eating my last bala shark, that's why he is hiding ha ha). It's a 1.5m. The quality of the pics isn't great coz the fish never want to sit still. Next on my list is building a nice wooden hood.

@ATV what is the plants name in the second last pic?
Used to have one of them in my very first setup, but I guess their high maintenance bcoz of the red color and mine died in a few weeks.

 

No idea ha ha. Pretty new to plants and I basically put them in there to help create a more balanced eco-system. Been in for about a week and looking alright. I asked for low tech plants when I went to the lfs so I don't think they are high maintenance but again I have no experience with plants

 

Dophin filter is going to a mate of mine so the new package is the 1.2m with all the bells and whistles and the fluval 404 for R1000. There are 3 different types of substrate included aswell.

 

They platium angles thats what they called if you dont know then name^^
