Hi All

I have my beloved 1.8m tank for sale. I've downgraded to a smaller tank and given increasing constraints on time, I can't manage to maintain both.

Also need to free up some space in the house so this tank must go.

It's been running 24/7 for 3 years and has not given a single issue.



Specs:

1.8m (1800mm x 600mm x 600mm) - 10mm glass braced top and bottom +-650L
Internal side filter including pump (Eden 140 - 2800L per hour) - with matrix, purigen & foam
Galvanized stand with cupboard (Burnt oak finish)
Dophin internal filter
300w Eheim Jager heater
Light unit (3x 28w T5's)
Hagen Optima Air Pump
+-2cm layer of silica sand

Excluding fish and wood.

Bump... Price is negotiable.

 

Js a pointer, on gumtree those tanks go for under 2k... May be more worth ur while holding onto it... I sold a 2m tank for R1200 after payn 4 times that a few mnths before, really sux

 

Thanks. A friend of mine bought a 2m off gumtree but the condition it was was shocking, so that's another thing to keep in mind.

I've really looked after this tank.

Worst case scenario I'll cut it up and put it into storage.

mxz it is always tough selling a tank secondhand, people rather spend R10 000 in a LPS then buy a well looked after second hand tank only to kick themselves later. I on the other hand have learned the value of second hand tanks and how much you save and do not loose when reselling thirdhand.

 

@Vis true story. People are quick to assume second hand goods have been abused. I paid an arm and a leg for this tank when I had it built. It's just unfortunate that I can no longer afford to look after it.

Strange that there is so little interest in such a stunning tank at a give away price? Everything you need is included... I would take it if you were within driving distance.
