Hi all,

I'm selling my 3ft setup, as my new 450 litre tank will be ready in about a month and I'll have no use for this one.

Everything listed here is approx. a month and a half old, all bought brand new.
The cabinet and canopy I made, and the canopy is also equipped with an extraction fan (there is zero moisture in the canopy at any time).

3ft tank
Steel stand
Aquaclear 50 HOB filter
Filtered 720 lph power head (plumbed to flow the same direction as the Aquaclear)
1x White T8 and 1 x Actinic T8 lights and ballasts
Elite 200w Heater
Course and fine gravel
Various bits and pieces (like the rock formation on the right for plants to grow out of, prevents my cichlids from digging them up), and slate rock etc.

The canopy also has a switch box (on the left), where the fan, and each light can be individually turned on or off.
The power head also runs through a switch at the back of the canopy, to turn it off when feeding.
Tank will be sold with all rocks, gravel, plants etc......except for the root and plant growing out the top of it (as it has a space in the new tank), and my fish ofcourse, who will be re-housed once the new tank has cycled.

This whole setup has cost me close to R4000, and alot of elbow grease has gone into the cabinet and canopy.

I'm looking for R2750, I'm not desperate to sell as the tank will only be ready to go in about a month but I thought it best to advertise now anyways.

Sounds to me like you need a holiday.....somewhere on the east coast... :laugh:

 

Tank has been taken down, is now sitting under cover in my garage.....
Looking for R2000 now, which I think is a good deal considering the cabinet and canopy with extraction, switchbox, lights,pumps etc.
I have a ton of driftwood, rocks etc to choose from.

 

Okay ladies and gents,

I'm starting to take a bit of flack for this tank taking up garage space.....I've decied to drop the price to R1500 to try sell it quick.
Everything here ran for 2 months, is brand new and in excellent condition.
Again, the canopy is wired with fan, lights etc with their own on/off switches.
I doubt you'll find anything near this for this price and being basically brand new.

I have a ton of rocks, gravel and bits to sell with the tank for whoever buys it.......save me from the wifes wrath please :laugh:
