Hi, I have a 3M fish tank for plus stand (all built to fit the tank) for sale. Dimensions are as follows: 3000mm L x 700mm W x 1600mm H (including stand). Glass is 12mm thick... Has drilled holes for sump and/ or canister filter piping. Cabinet needs abit of work (sand and repaint), I have started sanding the unit but only done two doors thus far. Reason for selling: Moving out and no place for it in the new home. Please collection only if you are interested. Inbox me if you are interested, price is negotiable but please no silly offers. Hi MarcF, It is my dream to have a tank like this. I would absolutely LOVE it. Sadly I'm not in a position to buy. I can fetch and fix, but I don't have spare cash right now, otherwise I would have taken it. Sorry.

 

Willing to swap for a smaller tank guys. Like a 2M or something.

 

I have a 1M tank. 100Litres. But it is probably too small, as I'm wanting to upgrade. Thanx anyway.

I have the space for the tank, just not the money, wife will kill me! currently running 2x 1,2 m tanks and they are sufficient for now!

I am moving out in the next month and the new house does not have space for the 3m tank, can fit a 2m in there.
Currently have a 1.2m community tank, but wanted the bigger for for CA Cichlids.

Might help if you cleaned up the tank a bit (bit more presentable) and put a price on so people know where to start negotiations.

 

Tank collected yesterday and moved to Somerset West. What an exercise moving such a large tank 50km!!

Just want to say a huge thank you to @MarcF for this opportunity. Was great to meet another forum member in the flesh.

Still deciding whether to use this monster for discus.......or my arowana that is maturing.

Hi MarcF, 2 questions if you don't mind. 1) How did you manage water changes? and 2) did you put Styrofoam between tank and cabinet?

 

@pHish_man Thank you for meet and the trade in. Going to fix up that new tank and get a sump running in there. Once done going for Malawi setup, will post pics in a new thread once done.
@RVisser There was Styrofoam between the tank and cabinet at one stage, got damaged during the last move though. I did not do any water changes in there as it was not setup really. Was going to get it running but then some complications happened and I had to get a smaller tank.
