hi guys, ill be in jhb next weekend, ive got loads of driftwood, i mean bakkie loads, mopanie and all types of hardwoods, ive got an option to go up in car or bakie, prefer the car but if some off you might be interested in the wood let me know, wil trade for stock, equipment, sell what what, will post pics tomorow. ​

Luckily my wife doesn't know about this for she will have a bakkie load full just for the garden.

 

lol thats how it started, now i cant walk past a log without seeing it with maybe a bit of mos on it or maybe in my greenhouse with a orchid

I am using exactly the same wood, Looks very much like ADA Horn wood.It does float for a while and give off tannins but very nice rough texture, very natural lookingThe wood is wet, so a little darker

 

those are good looking pieces morris, although not all off mine are the same, as im trying to cover all the bases, thus looking for different species and none off these that i will supply have been soaked to atleast give whoever the opurtunity to try blackwater or if they wanto try and lower the ph, for instance i have a spiraling flat core of bout 1.2mX20cm wich im tempted to keep for moss

hi just, well its more like a make me a offer kinda deal as il send pics of what you describe that your looking for and then when i deliver we continue the negotiations, as im not gona give it away for free but not into getting rich, its just to help with the 1100km round trip i have to do.

hi hennie, well it depends , im going to drop off a friend of mine close to roodepoort on friday,then head back to sunninghill, so we can make plans as to meet somewere, ill also be visiting some lfs the weekend , wich is my main reason foer heading up to jhb, friday to sunday in the jhb area, i dont mind driving a bit but not gona do a 50km trip for 20bucks, im gona load a bakie load and head up, what ever doesn get sold on friday ill drop off at my mates house and hel be having a good couple of braais, but doubt that will happen
